Our summer weekend getaways in Pennsylvania are designed to provide the youth of Baltimore with a refreshing escape from their daily routines. Here, they can discover new experiences, learn valuable life skills, and grow in a supportive environment, free from distractions.

In 2025, I Am A Child of God Inc. hosted two Safe Haven Youth Retreats for Baltimore youth.
Our Boys Retreat, themed Young Kings, was hosted in partnership with God’s Best Family Inc. and centered on leadership, character, and purpose—empowering young men to grow in confidence, responsibility, and healthy decision-making through mentorship and interactive sessions.
Our Girls Retreat, themed Blossom, focused on becoming all that God has called each young woman to be. Through workshops and team building activities on identity, self-confidence, and navigating life transitions, participants engaged in guided discussions, , and community building designed to strengthen their confidence and sense of purpose.
